Evaluation of the susceptibility to green stem disorder in soybeans [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] with vegetative storage protein accumulation

چکیده

Green stem disorder (GSD) is an important agronomical problem in soybean production because it delays leaf and senescence complicates the harvest. However, a rapid precise diagnosis of GSD has not yet been established. In this study, effect depodding on vegetative storage protein (VSP) accumulation was investigated GSD-susceptible cultivar ‘Tachinagaha (Tc)’ GSD-resistant experimental line ‘Touhoku 129 (Th)’ under two different (early late) sowing dates 2020 2021. Intact Tc plants showed relatively severe at early late 2021, whereas intact Th little both years. Meanwhile, reproducibly induced increased weight for Th. The relative VSP content peaked 14–21 days after R3 (DAR3) afterward depodded plants. differed 28 DAR3 between plants, which earlier than timing when SPAD (soil plant analysis development) values differed, suggesting that might be better indicator value. present study will contribute to development tools diagnosing GSD.

Major QTLs associated with green stem disorder insensitivity of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.)

Green stem disorder (GSD) is one of the most serious syndromes affecting soybean (Glycine max) cultivation in Japan. In GSD, stems remain green even when pods mature. When soybean plants develop GSD, seed surfaces are soiled by tissue fluid and seed quality is deteriorated during machine harvesting. We performed quantitative trait locus (QTL) analyses for GSD insensitivity using recombinant inb...

In vitro Labeling of Neural Stem Cells with Poly-L-Lysine Coated Super Paramagnetic Nanoparticles for Green Fluorescent Protein Transfection

Background: The magnetic nanoparticle-based transfection method is a relatively new technique for delivery of functional genes to target tissues. We aimed to evaluate the transfection efficiency of rat neural stem cell (NSC) using poly-L-lysine hydrobromide (PLL)-coated super paramagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPION). Methods: The SPION was prepared and coated with PLL as transfection agent...
